Welcome to Advice to the Players!
Since our first production in March of 1999, Advice To The Players has served the towns and communities of New Hampshire's beautiful lakes and White Mountain regions with fast-paced, lively, and understandable productions of Shakespeare's plays. Our unique blend of seasoned professionals, enthusiasitc community members, and energetic teens has created a vibrant, community-based theatre with effects that far outstrip our small size, through performances, educational outreach, camps, and local presentations.
At the heart of ATTP's programs is teen mentoring. Students work onstage, backstage, & in the box office, all the while receiving a rich education from core theater professionals. Besides earning high school credit, they learn valuable skills in literacy, setting and keeping goals, cooperative problem solving and teamwork, self confidence, and community service; all steps toward becoming productive, creative adults.
Any student is welcome, provided that s/he is wiling to do the work. Just give us a call. To see what we're like, click here to download our exclusive web video, or come see one of our shows.
Our work with teens and communities has been recognized and supported by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts, the Alfred Quimby Fund, the Smith-Denison Foundation, and a broad base of individual supporters. In every year we have taken part, ATTP has been nominated for & taken home awards from the New Hampshire Theater Awards.

Advice to the Players is delighted to thank our generous long term grantor:
The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation
Their support has guided us from the very beginning, & we are more grateful than we can say.
