Advice To The Players is raising money through individual donations, grants, and our 20th Anniversary Gala--to launch the inaugural New Hampshire Fall Festival of Shakespeare in Fall of 2019. This inclusive program will bring together high school students across the region to present a collaborative performance of Romeo & Juliet. Advice To The Players and Plymouth State University are joining together to launch this nationally acclaimed program (developed by Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA) in New Hampshire. A vision of the timeless story of star-crossed lovers will be owned and fully realized by the company of teen actors and presented through expertly directed ensemble storytelling and sword-fights. This program encourages self-discovery through Shakespeare's words, inspiring the next generation to explore the beauty and complexity of language as they learn to "speak the speech", challenge themselves and foster creative community.
